LEANING INTO GENIUS

A few years ago, I realized that sending people out into the world after Story as Language without something they could fall back on or utilize further jeopardizes my progress with clients. The film industry is not necessarily a "fair" one, which means that continuing to see our screenplays as expressions that we can further deepen and engage others in puts us in a better position to get our desired results.

That's why I started a program reserved for my four-month clients called Leaning Into Genius. In the program, we focus on --

MONTH ONE
- Identifying YOUR specific route to your project's perfect team.
- Developing your film's short and long synopsis, logline, and director statement in preparation for creating pitch materials.
*Learning the 11th Dynamic Tool - Bringing Lightness. The quality of being easily borne. How we make our screenplay easy to bear for un-careful readers.
- Gathering Low Impact Feedback to identify that Genius Thing in your screenplay and lean into it on every page, in every moment, AND in every action you take toward getting the script to the screen.
- Utilizing your Genius Thing to write your pitch.

MONTH TWO:
- Packaging your film with deck building, and film financing program submission writing.
- Developing your Genius Thing Draft with your pitch materials, using both to make collaborator reachouts, make development lab and competition submissions, book meetings, and even preliminary casting.
*Learning the 12th Dynamic Tool - Potent Percentages. Our screenplays comprise a series of parts that make up a whole of 100%, and that whole must be effective

MONTH THREE:
- Taking action toward film financing via my Story as Language approach to budgeting, straightforward financier conversations: Budgetary Cognizance.
*Learning about Critical Mass: the point at which your project meets the minimum required amounts to be and stay in motion.
- Transforming the expression of your screenplay based on the High Impact Feedback received during reachouts.
*Learning the 13th Dynamic Tool - Subliminality: a blueprint for what our film and pitch materials tell readers below their perceptions.

MONTH FOUR
- Bringing all the work together - a Genius Thing Draft, polished pitch materials, a team of collaborators, and financier possibilities.
- Pitching your film and getting live feedback.
- Holding your Zoom or Staged Reading using my Story as Language staged reading techniques.
- Take inventory & clarify your remaining path forward with the Dynamics work, materials work, and attachments.
