Nancy Degnan is an LA based producer and co-founder of filmmaker collective and production company, Autotelic Pictures, dedicated to diverse, international storytelling, centered around a belief in our global capacity for change and the evidence that media must lead the way. Her debut feature, BUCK RUN, premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, receiving several Best Feature awards during its international festival tour, and was distributed by Freestyle Digital Media in 2021. Degnan’s second feature, SILENT NOTES, stars Daniel Durant from the Oscar-winning film Coda, which had its festival premiere at the 2024 Austin Film Festival. She is Executive Producing feature DAD WAS A GOOD MAN alongside her partner at Autotelic, writer/director/actor Nihaarika Negi, currently in post-production. She served as an Associate Producer on the web series AFTER FOREVER (Amazon), which won five Daytime Emmys, setting a record for the most Emmys won by an LGBTQ series in one year. A fierce advocate for female filmmakers, Degnan is an active member of Women In Film, and with her upcoming feature, FERAL, which is being Executive Produced by Oscar-nominated producers Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa, and is represented by CAA Media Finance - participated in the 2023 Film Independent Fast Track, the WIF + Sundance Institute Film Finance Intensive, as well as the female filmmaker initiative Breaking Through The Lens. She is a 2024 Film Independent Producing Lab Fellow.
